Saint Louis Drive Inn

Image
I have not had food from Saint Louis Drive Inn for a long time. I finally got to eat it again because they deliver on the Uber Eats App! It really helps support them during these hard times! I got to try two things:  Japanese Bento   Deluxe Plate ~~~~~~~~~~~ Luckily, Uber driver actually dropped the food when it was still hot! If I had to get this via the bus, it would definitely have been so cold by the time I got home. Okay, enough about that haha The Bento was delicious! It had shrimp tempura, teriyaki chicken, grilled salmon, and deep fried scallop. It was definitely worth it for the price! They drizzle this teriyaki sauce onto the rice too and it was sooo good! The Deluxe Plate was something that I always ordered when I used to dine in at Saint Louis Drive Inn. The food tasted the same as I remember. So yummy and fresh~  The portioning also seemed generous. I'm just bad at taking pictures haha! I definitely recommend this place! Let's help support their business...

Jejubing ~ Snow Ice

Image
Jejubing!  I eat at this place soo often and its sooo goood!  This place serves snow ice and they put generous amounts of fresh fruits as toppings along with condense milk and whipped cream. This actually depends on what you get since they have a lot of different flavors. This place has in door dining and I would definitely recommend eating the snow ice when you get it. I actually ordered take out once and it half melted on the way home and the whipped cream got smashed on the cover... I also took a while to eat it because I was trying to hide it from my family since I know they were going out that night haha  The one I chose to get and it is displayed on the picture is the Honeydew flavor! It says it is a seasonal item so I feel this would stay for a bit longer since I had this many months ago and it still says it is a seasonal item.  Like I said in my last post, I love fresh fruits on desserts! This is just the perfect dessert for someone when they need some...

Dairy Queen ~

Image
Sooo, its summer and its definitely getting hot! I have not eaten at a Dairy Queen ever since the one at Ala Moana closed down. I feel like that was ages ago haha.  Anyway, I was in the area at Windward Mall and decided to get a Banana Split from Dairy Queen. It was always good and I never regret getting it from there!  I like how they use fresh bananas and strawberries. I love fresh fruits on my desserts! The amount and portioning felt perfect too! There was never too much of something in this bowl of Banana Split.  I also really like the soft serve ice cream they use. It just taste different from any other soft serve that I have eaten in town. It makes me sad that this Dairy Queen is so far away from where I live. I would probably buy this dessert soo often. Maybe that is a good thing that its far away!

Romano Macaroni Grill ~ I didn't know what to blog about haha

Image
I went dinner here last night at Romano Macaroni Grill and I was like  "Oh yay!!  something to post on my blog." Haha.  So, I'm not a fan of salads. But how is Caesar salad soo good?? I mean its just a simple salad yet it is like one of my favorite salads to eat and that says a lot since I hardly eat salads haha. Parmesan cheese definitely makes it a bit to salty for me and the dressing can be a lot but its so delicious.  I think this was called Pasta Milano. I came here wanting to eat a different dish but I was too shy to ask them if they still had it since it was not on the menu. This dish was delicious but it was heavily seasoned. It had grilled chicken, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, cheese, and a sauce that I don't know how to describe. I guess it was something completely new to me and I was hoping it would taste like that pasta from Cheesecake Factory since I thought it had the same ingredients but I think I was wrong. It was a good pasta dish though!  ...

Boba ~ The Alley

Image
Oh man, where do I begin? I LOVE boba places and definitely trying to keep up with the trends since there are sooo many boba places everywhere!  The place I am going to talk about is The Alley . It's located at Ala Moana and it always have a lonngggg line. Luckily there is a thing called online ordering. Oh man, if you ever want to order from there, just order online. It is super quick and you don't have to wait the line to get your drinks. When the order is done, they would send you a text on your phone and you go right in to pick it up! Simple~  Anyway, here's my picture!  Strawberry Lulu (On the left) & Passion Green Tea(?) (On the Right) This was my first time going there and I regretted not getting their milk tea. I went back again but I forgot to take a picture.  ~ REVIEW ~ Sooo, I originally thought this place was one of those popular hype up kind of places and definitely since it is located in Ala Moana. I am so glad that I tried this place. I kind of fel...

Lady M ~ Crepe Cakes!

Image
Another food blog from me! I honestly think that food is the easiest thing for me to blog about since I love food.  The next place I wanted to blog about was this cake place I always wanted to try! The sign outside said its called "Lady M" but the thing outside said Waikiki Tea.  As you enter the place, it is really small. The first thing you would see entering the place would be this display case of crepe cakes! That's right. This place specialty is crepe cakes. I LOVE crepes and cake soo this was definitely really exciting for me to try! Here is my order of the cakes. My cake fell down while I was taking it home on the bus... (sad face) but its okay! Fresh Blueberry Cream (This is exactly what the worker said) Passionfruit (the one that fell down) and Original Signature. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ MY REVIEW ~ Keep in mind: There are more flavors, but these are the ones that I chose! The crepe cakes are good. But definitely something I would not be buying on a daily basis. E...

First time at Paia Fish Market ~ Waikiki

Image
Waikiki has so many places to explore and so many places that I wish to try. I got to try Paia Fish Market for the first time! I wasn't even sure about it at first since I kind of thought it was a tourist trap. There was always a long line and I always wondered why.  Apparently, from what I heard someone say, they are popular because you get to choose a fish, and how you want the fish to be cooked and then served with sides...  .....And that is exactly what I did haha! I actually forgot what fish this was. I think it was grilled Mahi and then I wanted it with rice and homestyle fries(?) I was kind of shocked since I didn't know what to expect from it!  The fish plates tasted good. I agree on that part. It had ALOT of flavor. I mean too much. It was really salty to be honest.. I feel like it was a good place to try and see for yourself. However, I don't think I would be going back unless it is like the only place for me to eat there.  ~~~ This is my opinion. Please ta...
